LEVELS & OPTIONS
LEVELS
LEVEL ONE – BASIC: Level 1 offers full Geometry where the parts can be created or imported via DXF. The Geometry is designed for cutting applications and includes standard shapes, text cutting of any font and shape, dimensioning and going from scanning to cutting. The geometry can be easily converted into a machine file in the Geometry Cutting module. For better cutting results and easy management, the user stores his parts in Models, which are Libraries of parts. Parts from the Models are sorted and entered in Orders to be nested and cut. Nesting is executed manually and Cutting is executed automatically or manually, with a large selection of leads.
LEVEL TWO – PROFESSIONAL: Level 2 has quick and efficient automatic nesting that also nests parts inside holes. Level 2 has very advanced Manual nesting for a high degree of material utilization and a high degree of parts quality. The manual nesting includes Float, Vector, Slide, Corner, Group and Pave functions. Level 2 has advanced functions to reduce machine time, minimize the number of piercing and improve cut quality. Functions like Common Line cutting, Bridge cutting, Continuous cutting, Chain cutting, Controlled cutting, Stitch cutting and more.
LEVEL THREE – ADVANCED: Level 3 offers a high degree of managing and cutting the parts. With Advanced Management all the attributes in the program for nesting, cutting or Posts are parametric and can depend on material, thickness and machine specifications. Parts can be better sorted for Models and Orders. Different reports for weights and cost estimates can be generated by the user.
OPTIONS
SHAPE LIBRARY: Simple parametric shapes are standard. The complex 2-D and 3-D parametric shapes are an option. A strong feature of the option is the ability to generate parametric shapes by using a very simple language and procedure. Level 1 required.
BEVEL CUTTING: With the bevel procedure, the user can prepare his Bevel data in a matter of hours. The procedure includes a Test that results in graphs for angle and kerf corrections. The beveled parts in C-Cut can be nested and cut automatically and manually, where the program takes care of the required offsets. With the Test developed tables and graphs, V, Y, X and K cuts are achieved. Level 3 required.
TUBE CUTTING: For machines with rotating axes, the Tube module supports cutting, milling and drilling of standard, or DXF defined, holes in tubes of fixed or variable diameter. Tube cutting the ends, to fit on Tubes or planes. Level 1 required.
SUPPORT
GENERIC POST: For all Levels, C-Cut offers a Post Processor Generator where the user can create a new Post or modify an existing one. It can also be used to generate a Pre Processor to read machine files into the geometry. The flexibility and power of the Generic Post increases with each Level: In Level 3, the Post is fully integrated with the user controlled Database.
CUSTONER SUPPORT: One year phone and e-mail Support is included after the Codes are issued. After that, a one year Support is at 10% of the price for Levels and Options purchased. Support continues to be at 10% per year and if skipped, there is a penalty of 10% per skipped year, not to exceed 35% with the years. Support includes new Versions and Builds.
NETWORK DONGLE: A Network dongle replaces the dongle, or dongles, that the customer has. With a network dongle and software, C-Cut can run on any PC in the network. The number of users at any time depends on the number of Licenses purchased.
